The Wilds in Bloomington Wedding Photographer
Maggie and Alex were the very first wedding to kick off my 2026 season, and boy, was it a good start! The wedding was held at The Wilds in Bloomington, IN. And they had very possibly the prettiest March day an Indiana bride could dream up! We had snow and tornadoes just earlier in the week. We couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the day was.
This wedding had a dream team of vendors who professionally brought their talents to make it one of the smoothest and most beautiful events. Maggie had a stunning color palette with lavender, sage, pinks, and gold. I’ve been shooting at The Wilds for years and never seen so many flowers there! Pomp and Bloom killed it! Morgan from Ashley Weddings had the whole thing running smoothly, the Sweet and Savory food was delicious, and Leslie from Indy Bridal Co. was flown in just for the day.

Maggie was simply stunning; you’ll see what I mean when you scroll down. You could tell Alex was so happy to be marrying the love of his life, and they shared many sweet moments throughout the day. They decided to exchange private vows with each other at their first look and then finalize it in front of family and friends during the ceremony. The bridal party was one of the easiest and kindest I’ve ever worked with, and all of them had been friends with the bride and groom since elementary or high school. I consider it a very good sign, and a sweet thing when a couple has had friends that long.
